INTERVIEW
EN: "Is there friendship in show business?
— You know, I think it doesn’t really depend on the world of show business. It actually depends on how you were raised and on your sense of something dear, familiar, something close to you in spirit. A person can be from show business, or from completely different fields — the question is whether they’re your kind of person or not.
There aren’t good or bad people. Either someone is yours — you instantly click, and the puzzle just comes together and fits — or there’s some kind of dissonance. And no matter who that person is or what field they work in, they’re simply not yours.
So I’d say that yes, friendship does exist — especially if it started in childhood. For example, with Lena Katina — we’ve known each other since the children’s group “Neposedy.” And Sergey Lazarev and I, we keep in touch quite often. That’s also from childhood — since we were seven or eight years old — and up to this day. Even though each of us now has our own separate lives: children, families, interests, hobbies — we still maintain a certain connection."
